When I was recreating the poster I decided to recreate it in illustrator. When I was in illustrator i used an array of different tools and options to create this final poster. I used the selection tool, pen tool, shape tools which included rectangle and ellipse tools, type tool, gradients, clipping and also worked with layering.

What I have done in this poster that is different to the last one I posted is that there is a background underneath my original poster that helps makes the poster look more old and retro. I added this cardboard texture and placed it on its own layer and pushed it to the back, once I did that I turned down the transparency of the layer so that it wasn't as harsh. I really think adding this one thing helped bring the whole poster together and really help it look like the original nasa pluto poster.
